Intensive and Residential training
The Centro di Terapia Strategica of Arezzo offers Intensive and Residential Courses in: Advanced Brief Strategic Therapy and Communication and Strategic Problem Solving.
These Courses offer the trainee a valid opportunity to engage in the ever more effective, repeatable and transmittable advanced models of the brief strategic approach.
The Intensive Courses (3-day, 5-day, 2-week) are held in groups or individually. Participants are closely guided throughout the first stage of the programme by an English-speaking trainer/lecturer, the psychologist Dott.ssa Claudette Portelli, under the supervision of Prof. Nardone. Intensive Courses are held on the last week of every month (except in August and December).
For Residential courses (6-months and 1-year), the participants need to understand Italian, be able to follow live case observation, lectures and other activities organized by the Centre. Residential Courses are held five days a week (the training involves lessons, videotapes of real case study, direct observation of clinical sessions and, of course, open discussions) under the supervision of Prof. Nardone.

- Overview of Advanced Brief Strategic Therapy
- Introduction to Specific Protocols and Advanced Models of Strategic Treatment
- Guided Study of Recorded Clinical Cases (Cases are chosen to fit particular interests of participants)
- Observation of Live Sessions conducted by Professor G. Nardone
- Individualized Case Consultation
- Final Encounter with Professor Nardone for expert advice on the management of cases, using the CTS model
- Certificate of completion of training
